August Summer Weddings
Oh August you have been amazing and I have loved every minute of creating wedding cakes for some wonderful couples.
My business plan for 2020 was to devote more to growing the wedding side of my cake business and with several booked in, wedding shows planned and investments into sugar flower courses and more advertising I was so excited. With the pandemic weddings didn’t happen I was obviously disappointed and like so many, wondered when things would happen again.
I did still create some wedding cakes last year and earlier this year, but August has really been the month for me that I’ve dreamed of with a wedding each week, lots of beautiful sugar flowers to create, and beautiful couples finally able to get married. It has been an absolute privilige to be a part of these couples special day, an honour that I am always so grateful for.
